A Human Library is a an innovative approach to promote dialogue, reduce stereotypes, and foster understanding among people from different backgrounds. In a Human Library event, instead of borrowing books, participants have the opportunity to "borrow" a person who serves as a living book. Each living book is an individual with a unique life story and experiences that challenge stereotypes or preconceived notions. The "readers" or participants can engage in one-on-one conversations with these living books, asking questions and learning about the person's life, perspectives, and experiences.
